Built with ink in mind—crafted in AE and Photoshop.

This animation was sparked by a few gradients, a dash of halftone wizardry, and a deep love for that gritty, printed aesthetic I’ve chased since my print shop days.

Inspired by fellow creatives pushing texture and motion, this turned into a full risograph-style workflow experiment.

The cherry on top? Warbly synth layers by Sanctus Audio that make it all sing..

Technical Specs

This passion project started as an exploration of what risograph could look like when pushed into a more procedural space—blending the tactile, imperfect feel of printed riso with animation built entirely inside After Effects. Everything was created using just After Effects and Photoshop, leaning into those tools to recreate the texture, misregistration, and charm of traditional risograph through a digital workflow.
